Once again, the reception at Carsons Tavern on Friday, May 5th was a huge success. Attendees enjoyed an hour open bar, excellent live music by The Kinected, and fabulous food by Carson’s awesome team. The guests were generous during the live auction, bid actively in the silent auction, and bought lots of raffle tickets.
On Saturday, May 6th the 30 teams showed up on time for check-in at The Yacht & Country Club, before heading into the clubhouse for some lunch. The mood was great and everybody had a blast. Following the round of golf, the putting contest drew a lot of spectators. Due to some bad weather, the helicopter ball drop couldn’t take place as planned, and the 400 colored balls were dropped from the top of a ladder – not as spectacular, but it worked. The day was wrapped up with the drawing of the raffle winners, including the Ireland Trip raffle, donated by Celtic Golf, the award ceremony, and the viewing of the Kentucky Derby.
