The Friends of Volunteers in Medicine Clinic, Inc., was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to support, assist and enable the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic to provide health care to medically indigent residents of Martin County, Florida.

He completed his residency in Tampa, FL and ran a private Pulmonary Medicine practice for 17 years upon arriving in Stuart in 1979. Today he is partner at Treasure Coast Concierge and volunteers weekly at VIM.
