An Honor Reflecting a Lifetime of Leadership, Compassion, and Impact

We are proud to share that Dr. Jordan Bromberg, Medical Director at Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Clinic, was recently honored as a 2025 Sage Award recipient by the Council on Aging of Martin County.

The Sage Awards celebrate exceptional individuals aged 55 and better who continue to live lives of purpose and community impact. Dr. Bromberg was recognized in the category of Health Science & Medicine for his decades of service in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, and for his continued commitment to making healthcare accessible to those in need.

The 2025 ceremony, held at the Kane Center, was an inspiring evening filled with powerful stories and heartfelt recognition. Surrounded by friends, colleagues, and fellow honorees, Dr. Bromberg was celebrated for the same qualities we see every day at the Clinic—his compassion, leadership, and dedication to teaching and patient care.

At VIM Clinic, Dr. Bromberg leads with experience and empathy. In addition to providing direct care to patients, he plays a key role in educating medical and nursing students, offering them valuable hands-on clinical experience while instilling the importance of community-based care. Thanks to his leadership and the efforts of our entire team, VIM provides more than 11,000 patient visits each year, representing over $10 million in free medical care—all made possible by community support.

Dr. Bromberg’s legacy also includes service in the U.S. Air Force, where he earned the Air Force Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service, and a recent TEDx talk in Port St. Lucie on “Bridging the Healthcare Gap.”

This award is a celebration not just of Dr. Bromberg’s career, but of the mission we share at VIM Clinic: delivering compassionate care, educating future healthcare professionals, and making a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Congratulations, Dr. Bromberg!
