HOWARD E. VOSS, MD, FACP, Medical Director & CEO
retired from private practice in Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology in Stamford, Conn. He served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at New York University School of Medicine; Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College; Chairman of the Medical Staff of Stamford Hospital; President of the New England Society of Allergy; and President of the New York Allergy Society. He is currently Clinical Associate Professor Florida State University College of Medicine.
ARACELI CALDERON, CMA.
Born in Stuart, Araceli obtained her Certified Medical Assistant training at the Lincoln College of Technology in West Palm Beach. She did her practicum at the VIM Clinic, then became a valued member of our team when she joined our staff in 2009.
KAREN DeLORENZO, RN.
Karen’s nursing career spans nearly 40 years. She was at Mercy Hospital in Miami for 18 years, then at Myers Community Hospital (now part of Rochester General Health System) in Sodus, N.Y., for 13 years. She spent 10 years as an OR nurse at Martin Memorial Health Systems before joining us in 2009. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, N.Y., she has Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science Degrees from the University of Miami, and a Master’s Degree in Education.
VICTORIA DODDS ARNP.
Vickie joined us on a part-time basis in late 2009 to help us meet the growing demand for services. She provides primary and gynecological medical care to our patients. She worked in Columbus, Ohio, for 15 years and obtained her MSN as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from Columbia University.

Chryl Dolofrio CHERYL DONOFRIO, MA.
Cheryl was a volunteer phlebotomist at the Clinic until she joined our staff in 2007. She moved here from Philadelphia and attended  Indian River State College. She continues to draw blood and does a little bit of everything at the clinic, including taking patient vitals, scheduling and training.
CAROL JARZYN, ARNP.
Carol was a volunteer at the Clinic for nine years before joining us as a part-time staff member in 2009. She worked with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs in West Palm Beach for 24 years, after moving to Florida from Ohio.

Jessica Johnson JESSICA JOHNSON, CMA.
Jessica is a graduate of Keiser University, where she made the Dean’s list for her 4.0 GPA. She is now working on obtaining her RMA. She draws blood, takes EKGs and patient vitals, and performs other duties as needed. She was at Liberator Medical Supply in Stuart and at Pharmacy Distribution Services before joining us.
ELIZABETH TSARNAS, ARNP.
Betty is our Clinical Director. In fact, she helped prepare for our 1995 opening and joined us after eight years as an ICU nurse at Martin Memorial Health Systems. She received her ASN from State University of New York at Farmingdale, before moving to Stuart over 30 years ago. She obtained her BSN, and her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University.

Administrative

MARY FIELDS, Executive Director & COO,
has been with the VIM Clinic since 1996. She directs all administrative functions and manages the Clinic’s annual budget. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Junior League of Martin County, where she served as President in 2002. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park.
CHRISTINA BODNER, Administrative Assistant.
Christina comes to us as a part-time staff member after more than 10 years of volunteer service at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Diabetes Research Institute. A resident of Florida for 20 years, she managed four shopping centers from Miami to West Palm Beach. Christina left the corporate world because she wanted to work for a cause.
“At Volunteers in Medicine, everyone is here for the same reason,” she says. “It’s a wonderful environment.”
ELLEN GADE, Patient Service Representative.
Ellen is responsible for all front office operations. She schedules patient appointments, diagnostic and lab work. She also coordinates patient referrals with community physicians. She moved here from Connecticut where she worked at an orthodontist’s office for 17 years.
DONNA OLSON, Grant Writer.
Donna has been a great help to us in securing several significant grants since 2008. She’s been grant writing since 2001 for a number of organizations on the Treasure Coast and in New York State. She’s also a fiction writer with more than 20 years’ experience as a television producer and writer.
DEBI PELLETIER, Communications & Marketing Coordinator.
Debi has 35 years’ experience in multimedia management, training and project development. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Administration from Barry University. With communications skills honed as an award-winning journalist and documentary producer, she is helping us promote our initiatives through our Web and Social Media sites.
