Our first Creative Entertaining event with Claudette Bublak from Calico Corners was a big success, raising about $5,000 for VIM Clinic. Organizer Paula Nicoletti worked with Mariner Sands’ Executive Chef John Saundry to put on an elegant luncheon with surprise gifts and auction items.
Claudette Bublak and her colleague Patrick Brown did a wonderful job creating fun, elegant and eye-popping tablescapes for all occasions. Claudette is very much in demand for her ideas and expertise in applying decorative touches that transform any room or, in this case, table setting.
Chef John at Mariner Sands Country Club provided entertaining tips for the holiday season and some favorite recipes for a 32-page Creative Entertaining cook booklet that covers everything from beverage planning to tablecloth lengths. Copies of the booklet are still available for donations of $20 or more.
