At Volunteers in Medicine, we’re always creating new fundraising events and seeking out new partnerships within the community.
Volunteer event planners, project managers, community organizers, students and others are more than welcome to give us a call or stop by for a visit to see what VIM Clinic is all about. We have a very small staff, so we’re happy to collaborate with others whenever we can.
Our major fundraiser of the year is the annual VIM Gala, which has become one of the premier social events of the year. It’s on the last Saturday of every January.
We’ve had great success with a variety of projects such as a Creative Entertaining luncheon and a Bruce Springsteen cover band. Our partnership with the Robert F. Novins Memorial Golf for Life tournament began in 2013, and is now our second-largest fundraiser.
This is not our only collaboration. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church has donated proceeds from an annual Fashion Show Gala in 2013 and 2014. We also work with the YMCA in helping patients achieve healthier lifestyles, and we have created other new community partnerships to meet the needs of the homeless.
In 2016, VIM Clinic benefited from the inaugural Ken Duke Invitational golf tournament.
To all of our supporters, sponsors, donors and volunteers, we extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for everything you do.
