Giving Opportunities

For every tax-deductible dollar you donate, we can provide more than $10 worth of medical services free of charge to Martin County residents who are not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare, do not have private health insurance and are below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. We serve over 1,100 patients and the need keeps growing. Your support can make a HUGE difference in the lives of others.

Donate Online

Use your credit card to make a one-time donation, or set up an easy and convenient monthly payment plan. You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express on our safe and secure system. Special Event Giving

The annual Gala is our major fundraiser of the year with many levels of Underwriting and Sponsorship opportunities. Tickets are $300 per person. All donors of $1,200 and more are invited to the exclusive pre-Gala VIP Party.

Honorary/Memorial Giving

You can leave a gift in memory of a loved one, in honor of a special event or achievement, or for other noteworthy occasions. We will send note cards to the recipients to make them aware of your generosity. Or, if you prefer, you can remain anonymous.

Bequests & Planned Giving

This is an excellent option for those who’d like to leave a lasting legacy of hope, help and community service. You can provide a letter of intent, transfer real or personal property, add the VIM Clinic to your will or estate plan, or make us a beneficiary in your life insurance or retirement plan. Other forms of giving include charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities. Please consult with your financial advisor. We would also be happy to discuss the options best suited for you. Gifts of Stocks & Securities

When stock is donated directly to us, you can claim the full market value as a charitable contribution without paying capital gains tax. Also, donors who are 70 ½ or older can make cash gifts totaling $100,000 from traditional or Roth IRAs without incurring income tax for the 2010 tax year. Please consult your financial advisor, but again, if you need further information, just give us a call.

Matching Gift Programs

Many companies have programs that match the charitable contributions of their employees and retirees. This can potentially double or triple your gift. Please let us know if your company has a matching gift program available to you.
