At VIM Clinic, we respect the dignity of all our patients. We provide a model of ethical medical care that seeks to heal physical illness as well as the injury that results from bias, stigma and indifference. In addition to general medicine, we can offer specialist care thanks to local supporters and practitioners who donate their time at VIM Clinic, or accept our referrals and see our patients in their offices.
Are you, or do you know, someone who can't afford health insurance, doesn’t have coverage at work and doesn’t qualify for government benefits? There are thousands of uninsured residents in Martin County who need basic medical care. At VIM Clinic, we provide a community safety net by providing free primary care to residents who qualify.
VIM Clinic is staffed by over 90 volunteer physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants and lay personnel. Our culture of caring is at the heart of what we do. How people are treated here is as important as the care they receive. We have an amazing team of volunteers who truly make a difference. VIM Clinic would not be able to meet the growing needs of our less fortunate residents without the generous support of Martin Health System, the Martin County Health Department, local businesses and a caring community of individuals. We depend on grants and donations for funding, but we're able to leverage every dollar into $13.40 worth of services.
